Reporting a change of tenant

As an owner who lets out a flat, report a new tenant, a change of tenant or a move-out to your property manager.

Reporting a change of tenant

If you let out the flat you own, your property manager needs details of your tenant – for example for notices, the house rules or the consumption billing. As an owner, you will see the More › Report a change of tenant menu item.

  1. Under Flat / unit, choose the flat.
  2. Under What is changing?, choose:
    • New tenant: the flat was vacant or used by you.
    • Change of tenant: one tenant moves out and a new one moves in.
    • Move-out without a new tenant: the flat becomes vacant.
  3. Fill in what you know: Move-in or move-out on, Number of occupants (1 to 20), Name of the new tenant (required, except for a move-out without a new tenant), Previous tenant, Email of the new tenant and Phone number of the new tenant. Under Note to your property manager there is space for further details. Only the name is required; all other fields are marked “(optional)”. For Move-out without a new tenant, the portal hides the fields for the new tenant. If something is missing, your entries are kept – just add the item mentioned.
  4. Tap Send to your property manager.

Your property manager checks the details and takes them over; this does not change anything in the portal straight away. Under Your recent reports you can see the status:

StatusMeaning
Being transferredThe report has been sent and is being passed on to your property manager.
Sent, being checkedYour property manager has received the report and is checking the details.
Not acceptedYour property manager could not accept the report; the reason is shown with it.
